The Dix/McGuire Arts and Crafts Center is a creative and fun atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable. We help the “creatively challenged” find their creative side and allow the “artistically inclined” to further develop their talent. The center staff provides a wealth of knowledge and encouragement and customers enjoy the opportunity to create a masterpiece and enjoy this great facility. The center staff continues to impress our customers with quality work done in a timely and friendly manner.

Our departments include the:
- Sales Store - The store offers a wide variety of merchandise and services including plaques and engraving, a variety of fine art, crafts, and scrap booking supplies, critters to stuff, and photo printing using our Sony Picture Station.
- Frame Shop - Offers do-it-yourself and custom framing. The shop is well stocked with a vast array of molding and matte board, plus state of the art framing equipment. Frame staff at the center are technical experts with over twenty years of experience in the field to ensure your results are exceptional.
- Ceramics, Mosaics and Pottery Studio- Offers adults and kids classes covering both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. Experienced potters and adult students who have take a pottery class can come in during studio hours to use the facility. A large selection of pre-fired bisque pieces to choose from to decorate and paint and a large selection of mosaics, which are a great way to express your creativity with colorful glass. Ceramic and mosaic projects must be completed in thirty days so there is plenty of time to enjoy our friendly and creative atmosphere.
- Multi Craft Studio-This studio offers adults and kids classes in drawing, painting and mixed media arts, holds sewing classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. A fantastic volunteer program, Quilts for Kids, is held every second Saturday of the month and is a great way to learn the art of quilting while creating a beautiful heirloom quilt to present to children in long term care facilities, children of deployed military, Wounded Warriors and others. Enjoy open studio time during our business hours for drawing and painting, use of Accu-Cut, scrap-booking and sewing.
