The Walt Disney World Armed Forces Salute Program has been extended to September 27, 2012 and allows eligible patrons to purchase up to six four day tickets at a special discounted price. If a qualifying military member has already used their military salute benefit for 2011, they can repeat a visit with the same special prices between October 1, 2011 to September 27, 2012.
The following blackout dates apply: Walt Disney World: July 4, 2011 (Magic Kingdom only), December 26 – 31 all parks, April 1 – 12 all parks, July 4, 2012 (Magic Kingdom only)
Disneyland: July 1-4, 2011, December 24 – January 2, 2012, February 17-10, 2012, July 4, 2012
The ticket prices are as follows:
- WDW 4 Day with Hopper option $136
- WDW 4 Day Base with Water Park, Fun and More option $136
- WDW 4 Day with Hopper and Water Park, Fun and More option $163
Current ticket stock will be extended to September 27, 2012.
Eligible patrons are defined by Disney as: Active or retired members of the US Military including activated members of the National Guard and reservists as well as active members of the US Coast Guard. Permanently disabled (100%) veterans with eligible military ID may also participate in this offer.
To take advantage of this special, purchase your ticket certificate at the ITT Office and activate it with your military ID or military spouses ID upon arrival at the parks. You may take guests with you but the eligible military member or their spouse must be present to activate the tickets and during subsequent visits. Please note the military member or the spouse may purchase the tickets – not both, unless both are active/retired military.
Tickets may not be transferred, sold or shared. Days cannot be added to these tickets. Tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days. For additional information on this special Disney program, please call Ellen at 732-323-1362.
