Beginning Tuesday, September 20, the 87FSS Auto Hobby Shop re-opens in Bldg. 5372 JB MDL Dix on the corner of Delaware Ave and Snyder Lane across from Fire House #1 Dix. The 87FSS will be in the temporary shop for approximately 18 month as the original shop undergoes a $4 million dollar renovation project.
Temporary location has five automotive bays, one with full vehicle lift and two partial lifts. We continue to offer self-help vehicle services along with minor vehicle repair services, towing services, brakes, tire changes, oil/coolant changes, Vehicle resale lot management, and more. The FSS appreciates your patience during this entire project.
Current hours of operation: Sunday, Monday and Holidays – Closed; Tuesday – Friday, 9am-8pm; Saturdays, 9am-5pm. 609.562.3333.

If you have GSA vehicles, the Auto Hobby Shop at McGuire can perform the following GSA services without you having to leave the base:

Come to the Auto Hobby Shop for safe, easy and affordable vehicle maintenance. The center has eight bays and three lifts along with standard and metric tools, end cap, filter wrench, impact socket set, hydraulic engine cranes, air compressor, battery charger, grinder/buffer and four work benches for do-it-yourself vehicle maintenance. Shop staff is on hand to assist but not authorized to make repairs.

Free Comprehensive 10-Point Vehicle Inspections
The 87FSS Auto Hobby Shop, Bldg. 2416 Vandenberg Ave., now offers FREE comprehensive 10-point Vehicle Inspections on Wednesdays from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. No appointment necessary!
Inspections include: tires, fluids, lights, charging system (battery, starter, alternator) belts, hoses, wipers, brakes, lube points, front end (tie rod ends, axles, ball joints).
Get an even more comprehensive vehicle inspection for a low $25.
