Due to the 87 ABW Comprehensive Fitness Day, the Manpower & Personnel Section (MPS) will be minimally staffed and open for emergencies only on 23 October 2014.

Please note all other DEERS locations below will be remained operational on this date to service your ID card needs.

The 87th Force Support Squadron Manpower and Personnel Section (MPS) administers Military Personnel programs, No-fee Official Passports, Manpower Office, Civil Service programs and NAF Human Resources programs.
We are the subject-matter experts for numerous aspects of Military and Personnel programs such as In-Processing, ID Cards, DEERS, base Manpower, Civilian Employments, and so on.

•  Children under the age of 21 do not need a photo ID
•  When renewing an ID card, your current ID card counts as one of your ID’s. However, you will still need a 2nd form of ID.
•  Your sponsor must be with you to sign a DD Form 1172

REQUIREMENTS FOR DEERS SYSTEM

Military Member:

  • Two Forms of ID

Military Spouse:

  • Marriage Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Second Form of ID

Civilian Spouse:

  • Marriage Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Second Form of ID

Newborn Child:

  • Birth Certificate/Hospital Verification of Birth (Must have baby’s name on paperwork. We will accept hospital card w/footprints. No crib cards.)
  • Social Security Card (once you have it)
  • If you are an unmarried male sponsor, you will also need one of the following 3 items: court documentation stating that you are the father/ a completed Dependency Determination package (started at Finance) or a Voluntary Acknowledgement of Paternity (VAP) prior to adding the child into DEERS.

Adopted Child:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Court documentation stating that you are the guardian
  • Completed Dependency Determination Package (started at Finance)

Step Child:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Marriage Certificate

Ward (Foster Child):

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Court Documentation stating the child is in your custody
  • Completed Dependency Determination Package (started at Finance)

Full Time Students between ages 21-23 (if already added into DEERS):

  • Letter from Registrar’s office confirming full time enrollment and estimated graduation date
