The Education and Training Center (ETC) is home-base to Voluntary Education, Base Training, Formal Training, Civilian Training Management and Testing. The ETC offers excellent educational opportunities to military personnel, family members, and civilian employees. On and off-base programs are available, as are a number of other services.
Programs at the ETC include college classes, academic advising, Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) counseling, Air Force Commissioning advisement, Kuder career guidance tools, Troops-to-Teachers, Transition Assistance Program counseling, Military Tuition Assistance guidance, scholarships and an array of testing opportunities: WAPS / PME / CDC / DLAB / DLPT / CLEP / DDST / SAT / ACT / FAA / AFCT / AFOQT / TBAS / EDPT / OPI.
Two-year degree programs are available through Rowan College at Burlington County (Formerly Burlington County College) and the Community College of the Air Force. Baccalaureate degree programs are offered through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Southern Illinois University and Wilmington University. Graduate programs are available from Central Michigan University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Wilmington University.

The 87FSS Librar-e & Resource Commons on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst offers a FREE tutor/academic assistance program. Students can receive coaching individually and/or in groups.
The mission of this program is to support our military personnel, their dependents, and our civilian employees in their college careers by providing academic assistance for traditional and distance learning courses.
Are You Ready for Your Enlisted Promotion?
The 2019 Enlisted Promotions References and Requirements Catalog (EPRRC) is ready for your review on 1 October for the 2019 test cycle. Airmen must be prepared to test on the first day of the testing administration window. The EPRRC identifies the available enlisted promotion tests and associated study references for Airmen preparing for promotion.
The next promotion cycles and test administration periods are:

GI Bill 101
An education briefing providing the latest information on the eligibility, benefits payable, transfer of benefit, and more. This briefing helps you understand GI Bill benefits and answer common questions like: What's the difference between the MGIB and the Post 9/11 GI Bill? How do I convert from one to the other? How can I transfer the benefit to family members? Find out these answers and more!
First Thursday of each month at the 87FSS Education and Training Center, Bldg. 3829 School House Road (adjacent to Falcon Courts North), JB MDL McGuire; 9:00am; Room 204. Registration not required. Open to all military services and military retirees.
USAF Military Tuition Assistance (MilTA) Briefing
Airmen must attend a mandatory MilTA briefing prior to the first authorization of MilTA. This includes Active Duty, Guard and Reserve on active duty orders. 1st Wednesday at 8:30am; 3rd Wednesday at 1:30pm. On-base colleges will be available to assist you with your education goals at the conclusion of the MilTA Briefing. These institutions offer classes and coursework leading to Certifications, Associate, Baccalaureate or Master Degrees at the 87FSS Education Center.

This is a great opportunity for aspiring students to start their academic career or for those individuals who put their education on hold to start again, by meeting with college representatives. CCAF Degree Completion Briefing
Hosting a CCAF Degree Completion Briefing at the 87FSS Education and Training Center, Bldg. 3829 School House Road (adjacent to Falcon Courts North), JB MDL McGuire. The briefing will cover guidance and options in completing your CCAF degree. Registration: send an email of your intent to attend to UDG_87FSS_EDSPECIALISTS@us.af.mil.
