Hosted by 87FSS, Sunday, 22 October, 8am. Competition open to runners 18 years and older. Participants run across all JB MDL. Top 3 overall male and female with fastest time receive prizes. Top 3 in age groups in 10 year increments with fastest time receive prizes. Packet Pick-Up: at JB MDL Lakehurst location - Friday, 20 October from 4 to 8pm; JB MDL McGuire/Dix location – Wrightstown Firehouse, Saturday, 21 October from 9am to 12pm. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8am - Start of Full Marathon

10am - Start of Half Marathon

  • Competition is open to members 18 yrs. of age and older
  • Registration will be online
  • Both courses are now USATF certified
  • All runners will receive a complimentary Beat 539 backpack to use for gear check along with their sport-tech t-shirt and finisher medal
  • Full Participants will run across all 3 Bases
  • Runners can either compete in a Full or Half Marathon
  • The Half Marathon will start and finish on Lakehurst
  • For the full marathon runners will drop cars off on Lakehurst and will be bused back to the Flight Line on McGuire. They will start on the Flight line then go across Ft. Dix ending at Lakehurst by the historical Hanger 1, which housed the Hindenburg Blimp.
  • Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall Male and Female Finishers for each event as well as Gold Top Finisher Medals
  • Top Male and Female finishers in 6 age groups for each event will receive Gold Top Finisher medals
  • Packet pick up will be at Wrightstown Firehouse on Friday the 20th from 1600-2000, then at Cathedral of the Air on Saturday the 21st from 0900-1200 & at Bldg 123 on Sunday 22nd (Same day pick up) at Lakehurst from 0530-0700 for the Full and until 0900 for the Half
  • Once the runners are finished there will be an after party for the runners and their families.
  • Available for All: Tours of the Hindenburg Hangar, live entertainment, bounce houses, outdoor games, and food/drinks
  •  Available Free For Runners: Post-race massages, self-myofascial release area, instructor led yoga, one beer and meal courtesy of Pudgy’s Sports Pub

Military

o   31 August - Full Marathon is $70 and Half Marathon is $60

o   1-30 September- Full Marathon is $85 and Half Marathon is $75

o   1-12 October- Full Marathon is $100 and Half Marathon is $85

Civilian and All others:

o   31 August - Full Marathon is $90 and Half Marathon is $80

o   1-30 September- Full Marathon is $105 and Half Marathon is $95

o   1-12 October- Full Marathon is $120 and Half Marathon is $110
