TPresented by 87FSS ITT Offices. Tickets on sale 10am Tuesday, Aug 1st for Recently Deployed Military Members thru Aug 13th; open to all DoD ID holders 10am Tuesday, Aug 14th. Trip is Sunday, September 24. $35 per person includes entrance to the Statue of Liberty, reserved 10am Pedestal access, Ellis Island and round trip motor coach transportation. Bus driver gratuity is not included. Bus leaves JB MDL McGuire Commissary Parking Lot 7:15am sharp, group meets 4pm at designated area (TBA) at Liberty State Park for return trip, arriving to the JB MDL approximately 6pm. 609.562.6667 / 732.323.1362.
MUST-READ Security Process: Visitors to the Park are required to submit to airport-style security screening before boarding vessels departing from Liberty State Park. Visitors to the interior of the Statue of Liberty Monument undergo additional security screening upon entry inside the Statue. ALL persons and property are subject to search on Liberty Island. ALL items considered inappropriate or prohibited will be confiscated and retained by the US Park Police. Large bags are NOT allowed on Liberty Island or Ellis Island. Backpacks, strollers and large umbrellas are not permitted inside the Monument. Food (even unopened) and drinks (including water) are NOT allowed inside the Statue of Liberty. There are snack bars on all the boats which sell healthy snacks and beverages, as well as merchandise. There are also concession stands and gift stores on Liberty and Ellis Island. Before accessing the Pedestal and Crown areas of the Statue, all visitors with backpacks, food and drinks must place these items in lockers ($2 fee). Lockers are located in the base of the Statue of Liberty prior to entering the security area within the Statue. ALL weapons are prohibited, including; firearms, explosives or flammables, knives or sharp objects (including tools), pepper spray and mace.
