Martial Arts Demo will start at 6:00pm and the movie will begin at 6:30pm Kung Fu Panda 4 (PG)

Staff Sergeant Nicholas “Bear” Bade, USAF
Bear began studying martial arts in 2004 at the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts (DAMA) in Chicago Illinois, where the focus is on blending traditional and modern arts. Bear earned his DAMA Black Belt in 2014 and is ranked in several other arts including Jun Fan/JKD, Filipino Kali, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since enlisting in 2019, he has been able to sample new arts including Shao Lin Kung Fu. Here in New Jersey, Bear is a member at the Ludus Academy of Martial Arts in Mt. Holly.

T.J. Miller, Ludus Academy Founder & Lead Instructor
T.J. started his martial arts training in the 6th grade. After studying various styles including Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Kempo and Aikido, he found his way to Jeet Kune Do in his senior year of high school. In college at Rutgers University he started Combined Forces Street Survival with friends, and he has been teaching martial arts in some capacity ever since. We plan to perform a martial arts demo that incorporates striking, kicking, and self-defense followed by a short introductory class for attendees. (That’s kids AND parents!). Class will be fun and safe and will focus on basic techniques.
