Senior Transition Assistance Program “TAP” Curriculum – E-7 & O-3 and above

Prepare for a successful transition from military to civilian life with this comprehensive multi-day Transition Assistance Program workshop. Service members and their families will receive valuable information, resources, and guidance to help navigate the next chapter with confidence.
July 13-July 15, 7:45am-4:30pm, Military & Family Readiness Center, Bldg. 3435 Broidy Rd., JBMDL McGuire
The TAP curriculum includes:
- Day 1: VA Benefits & Services
- Day 2: Managing Your Transition, Military Occupation Crosswalk, Personal Financial Readiness, and Unemployment
- Day 3: Department of Labor Employment Workshop and Survivor Benefit Plan
Mandatory prerequisites include completion of Individual Counseling (IC) and the Pre-Separation Briefing (eForm DD-2648). Spouses are encouraged to attend.
