Military and DoD Civilian families can now search for child and youth care options through a single website! MilitaryChildCare. com provides comprehensive information on child care programs worldwide. Families can search for the care they need and submit a request for care anytime.  This website replaces the waitlist process at Child Development Centers, Youth Programs, and Family Child Care. School Age Care

The School Age Care (SAC) Program is center-based care for kindergarten through seventh grade, offering before and after-school care plus summer camp. Transportation is provided by the school district. 

Care is provided on early release and full days off from school. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided. This nationally accredited program encourages the development of life skills through a variety of clubs, community service, education, and recreational activities. During full day sessions, Spring break, Winter break, and Summer camp, children are involved in on-base activities such as swimming, bowling, and miniature gold as well as many field trips to off-base locations.

Dix School Age Care (SACD)

Location: 5219 8th Street on the Dix Side of the Joint Base
Age Group: Kindergarten through Grade 6
Programs Offered: Before & After-school care, Full Day Care during school ou days and Summer Camp.

Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA) is accountable for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth.Provides care and supervision, oversight, and accountability for program participants. Assists in preparing age-appropriate activities; supervises children and youth during indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings and special events; arranges and serves snacks/meals. Executes work in accordance with policies and regulations. May be requiredto transport children in government vehicles.
