Youth Programs

FSS Youth Programs sponsors many events and offers a wide range of programs for Youth and Families. We offer Core Programs such as The Arts, Health & Life Skills, Character & Leadership, and so much more! Registering for an annual membership billed monthly gives you access to Open Recreation, Pre-teen/Teen Programs, and special events. Give your teen a summer they’ll never forget with two incredible camp opportunities!

✈️ Teen Aviation Camp at the USAF Academy
For teens ages 14–16 who completed their freshman or sophomore year, this week-long experience (June 20–26, 2026) offers hands-on exposure to aviation, engineering, science, leadership, and life at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Campers stay in USAFA prep dorms and enjoy academy facilities, including the fitness center, aero club, dining hall, and more.

🚀 Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center
For youth and teens ages 12–14 and 15–18, Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama, inspires future astronauts, pilots, and cyber leaders. Programs include Space Academy, Mach II Aviation, and Cyber Camp with simulators, hands-on learning, and STEM challenges.

Summer Camp Opportunities

Open Recreation Programs

To register and participate in Open Recreation, Preteen & Teen Programs, you must be a member.

Youth ages 9 to 12: $30 per month
Youth ages 13 to 18: $25 per month

Program Hours of Operation:

Youth Programs McGuire:
Monday – Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Friday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Youth Programs Dix:
Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
Fridays: 2:00pm – 8:00pm

Both Programs will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.

Membership includes: Open Recreation, Preteen & Teen Programs

To help keep teens like you safe on the road, The UPS Foundation teamed up with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to create UPS Road Code, a national program educating

Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA) is accountable for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth.Provides care and supervision, oversight, and accountability for program participants. Assists in preparing age-appropriate activities; supervises children and youth during indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings and special events; arranges and serves snacks/meals. Executes work in accordance with policies and regulations. May be requiredto transport children in government vehicles.
